Hackmanite is the pink to violet variety of Sodalite.

Found in many places like  Russia, Greenland, USA, and Guinea, but these particular ones come from Afghanistan. 

What makes these minerals so special is not only their deep colouring, but what their colouring does under different light! If you place these under sunlight, they will lose their colouring, but dont worry, after a few days in a dark place, they will gain their colouring back!
